Compare and Contrast The Time Machine (Book and 1960 Movie)

Almost every book had a movie version of its own. The Time Machine, written by H. G. Wells, was filmed to movies in 1960 and 2002, respectively. In both movie and book, the Time Traveler, whose name was George, had went on a time travel. Also, George met the Elois and the Morlocks, and he saved Weena, a Eloi who almost drown in the river. After George saved Weena and found out his time machine was gone, he realized his time machine was hidden in the pedestal of Sphinx Statue. However, the director of the movie sometimes changed some details from the story. In the movie version, many details were different from the story version. For example, George had stopped in 1966, but in the story, George didn't stopped during his time travelling. Also, the biggest difference was the death of Weena; in the story, Weena died, but in the movie, Weena survived and fall in love with George. Finally, the sequence of the events were different, too. In the book, the Time Traveler told the theories first, then told the guest about the story; in the movie, they started with the dinner after the time travelling first, then told the theories second.
